    The Statement of Faith

 

We believe that …

 

 
  • The Bible, the Holy Scriptures is the inspired Word of God. (2 Tim. 3:16)

 

  • There is only one true God, the Creator of all and that He has further revealed Himself as The Father, The Son and the Holy Ghost. (1Cor. 8:6) 
 
  • The Lord Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God.  He is the Messiah, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, was crucified and died for our sins and was resurrected from the dead. (Jn. 20:31, 1Cor. 15:3,4)

 

  • The hope of eternal life is  through the death, shed blood and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God. (1 Pet. 1:3,4) 
 
  • Salvation is received by grace through faith upon repentance from sin and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. (Eph. 2:8,9)
 
  • Baptism in water by immersion is for those who believe and accept  Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of their lives. (Lk. 3:3)

 

  • Entire Sanctification of believer which is the second work of grace, purify the heart of the believer and facilitate holy living. (1Thess. 5:23)

 

  • The Church is the body of Christ, the habitation of God with divine appointments for the fulfilment of her great commission, to evangelize the world, heal the broken-hearted, and deliver the soul of people held captive to sin. (Lk. 4:8)

 

  • Tithes & Free Will Offerings are biblical, it is done in obedience to God’s word. They are expressions of the Christian’s obligation to the Church of and faithfulness to God. (Mal.3:10;  Matt. 23:23)

 

  • The Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion instituted by our Lord Jesus Christ should be administered to and received by Christians. It is a symbol of fellowship with God, right relation with  the body of Christ and in anticipation of the Jesus' return. (1 Cor. 11:23-26)
 
  • There will be a Final Judgment of all people where every person will be judged according to his works, some to eternal damnation in the Lake of Fire and some to life eternal in Heaven where the saved will dwell in righteousness forever.           (Rev. 20:12-15)
