Brief History of PHCC

• The Portmore Holiness Christian Church (PHCC) was started on February 11, 1996 in the home of Pastor Alvin Bailey.  Since then it has been aggressively engaged in Evangelism and Ministry to the community of Greater Portmore and beyond.

• Motivated by the Mission Statement, “Transforming Lives Through the Power and Ministry of Jesus Christ” , the church has grown from a membership of approximately six (6) in the beginning to oover five hundred (500) today. Indeed, it has become the largest and fastest growing church in the denomination. 

• The PHCC is enabled by a highly committed, motivated and Spirit-filled team of leaders and a congregation that is distinguished for unhindered Praise and Worship, warm fellowship and Christ-like love and commitment to Prayer.  PHCC ministry to the Portmore Community  is expanding.
